Following last week’s relatively “meh” episode of The Walking Dead, tonight’s episode brought tense conversation and more hatred for The Governor.

In the episode, The Governor and Rick kicked off an attempt at negotiating a deal. Andrea had tried to bring them together at first, and stepped in to offer assistance, but The Governor only wanted Rick to surrender – which of course is not an ideal outcome for our favorite group of survivors. As usual, The Governor was up to his manipulation tricks. Meanwhile, each side’s followers sat together and waited for Rick and The Governor to hash things out. This led the followers to bond a little bit. Eventually, The Governor reveals the one thing he wants that will settle things: Michonne. He shows Rick the damage under his eye patch – the injury that Michonne had given him.

Back at the prison, Glenn and Maggie had sex – maybe a baby will be on the way in season 4? The leaders returned to their respective camps, and Rick told the group that they’re going to war. He knows that The Governor would kill Michonne and all of them anyway. Despite this, he’s tempted to turn over Michonne. It’s all leading up to one epic The Walking Dead season 3 finale.
