All hell should be breaking loose on tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead season 6.

Episode 8, titled “Start to Finish,” is the mid-season finale (no new episodes for a few months – booo!), and at the end of last week’s episode we watched in horror as a watchtower came crashing down at Alexandria. This tower brought one of the safe zone’s walls down with it, leaving a huge hole for walkers to walk through.

The walkers have become the prime enemy again, or at least for a single episode. It’s been easy to forget lately that this is a show set in a walker-heavy world, because two big new threats have entered The Walking Dead over the course of season 6 so far (the Wolves and the Supposed Saviors).

Other elements we’re looking forward to tonight: Morgan revealing to Carol the prisoner he’s holding captive, and what the hell Ron is thinking in regards to Carl. Remember this scene from last week?

After the Glenn fakeout, we think the showrunners should have re-thought scenes like this one. It’s going to be hard to build trust amongst viewers again. How are we supposed to believe deaths in the future?

Last week’s episode of The Walking Dead wasted no time in revealing what we were all wondering about Glenn. Many fans were disappointed (though admittedly relieved) by the reveal, as it seemed like a stretch that he’d be able to survive such a horrible situation.

It’ll be interesting to see how the showrunners handle the twist coming for Glenn found in the comics. That one simply cannot be a fakeout.
