It’ll be tough for The Walking Dead to live up to the excellence that was the season 6 premiere.

Last week’s 90-minute opener featured Rick and the gang launching a major plan to keep Alexandria safe. Unfortunately, someone back near the safe zone screwed it all up by redirecting the walkers toward camp.

So who is to blame for screwing everything up? We speculated about this question earlier in the week and believe the Wolves are most likely to blame. Why would anyone at Alexandria want walkers to visit their own home?

If the Wolves theory is true, and if Rick finds out, we wonder if he’ll want to keep everyone locked in Alexandria like he told Daryl last week. Remember, Mr. Dixon said he wanted to continue making runs outside of Alexandria to find potential new recruits to help improve the security and well-being of their safe zone. Rick didn’t like that idea.

Tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead season 6, titled “JSS,” will presumably find the characters desperately trying to figure out how to redirect or kill the big number of walkers now heading towards their home. “As things begin to return to normal, a new problem arises for the Alexandrians,” reads a synopsis released by AMC.

The title “JSS” is certainly interesting. What does it mean? We don’t know, but we do know Enid writes it in a foggy car window in the below preview.

A trailer for tonight’s story depicts Carol dropping her grandma act to go fight. This preview also has a generally eerie feeling:

The show’s premiere episode last week was one of our favorite episodes in recent memory. If that was any indication of the excitement coming this season, we’re pumped!

The Walking Dead season 6, episode 2 airs Sunday, October 18 at 9 p.m. eastern / pacific on AMC. Return to Hypable after the episode airs for our thoughts on the highlights.
