With the welcoming party over, it’s time to settle into a normal life at Alexandria on The Walking Dead season 5, episode 14.

Previews for this week’s episode, below, seem to reveal that the show will catch up with several characters who’ve taken the back seat in recent episodes while Rick, Daryl, Carol, and others sorted out their purpose at Alexandria.

Last week’s episode of The Walking Dead introduced a scenario that we hadn’t seen before: The gang dressed up for a welcoming party at Deanna’s, and everyone was looking their finest.

At the party, Rick let his emotions get the better of him when he decided to plant a kiss on Jessie’s cheek (he clearly has the hots for her).

Meanwhile, Daryl continued to struggle with the new Alexandria lifestyle. He skipped the big party and found himself bonding with Aaron and his boyfriend Eric. The recruiter ended up offering Daryl a position as the second recruiter for Alexandria – and threw in a motorcycle to sweeten the deal!

In a clip from tonight’s episode, Eugene and Tara are on a walk outside of Alexandria when the former tries to take credit for the group ending up in their new sanctuary. Tara disagrees with his line of thinking, but Eugene rightly points out that they only started heading north thanks to his Washington D.C. plans (lies).

A promo for tonight’s episode doesn’t clue us in on many major plot points, but we do see Father Gabriel will have something to do at Alexandria, and Eugene is preparing to pull the trigger on a target (Finally he’s built up the courage! Maybe.):

The Walking Dead airs Sunday, March 15 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific on AMC. Return to Hypable after the episode airs for our thoughts on everything that happened! Until then, check out our recap of last week’s episode of The Walking Dead season 5.
