We’ve got our hands on The Walking Dead 3×13 “Arrow in the Doorpost” synopsis, promo, and two sneak peeks! What could be in store? Warning: spoilers!

Last night’s episode of The Walking Dead 3×12 “Clear” saw the return of Morgan and the unification of Michonne into team Rick, but didn’t show us anything of Woodbury, The Governor, or the prison. Episode 3×13 “Arrow in the Doorpost” promises to get the feud back on track.

In the synopsis released by AMC:

In an effort to prevent any more deaths, Rick and the Governor meet to come up with a peace treaty.

Sounds like things may come down to a more amicable arrangement; however, knowing what we do of The Governor, we doubt this will be the case. Watch the promo for the episode now to get more of an idea of what may be in store.

Promo:

As suspected, it appears The Governor may have other plans in mind, rather than settling things in fair terms. It seems he has his heart set on Rick and co.’s surrender, and given the insight Merle gave us in 3×11 “Home,” it will most likely end with the unlawful murder of our protagonists. Evidently Rick isn’t going to agree to give up and become a citizen of Woodbury, so where will it go from here?

We also managed to get hold of a couple of sneak peeks for the episode. You can watch them here!

Sneak Peek #1:

In the first sneak peek, it looks like Daryl, Hershel and Rick have gone off to neutral ground for The Governor and Rick’s meeting. Whilst Hershel guards the car, weapon in hand and more strapped to his stump (concealed but easily obtainable should he require it), Daryl and Rick scurry towards the meet point. The area seems quiet… too quiet. Not a walker or human around. Could they be walking into a trap?

Sneak Peek #2:

In the second sneak peek it appears a standoff may be in order, with neither leader looking like they’ll be backing down anytime soon. The Governor holds his hands up to show he is unarmed, but he’ll undoubtedly have something hidden up his sleeve. If the promo is anything to go by, friendly negotiations are a long way off.

What do you think may be in store for Rick, Daryl and Hershel as they face The Governor and his cronies in The Walking Dead 3×13 “Arrow on the Doorpost”?

Don’t miss out. Episode 3×13 airs on Sunday at 9/8c on AMC.
