AMC has kindly released a sneak peek for next week’s episode of The Walking Dead, titled “Home.” Warning, spoilers ahead!

Following the broadcast of “The Suicide King” The Walking Dead‘s ninth episode in season three, and the first episode following the midseason hiatus; AMC kindly gave us a first look at what is in store for episode 10, as shown in our “What did you think?” post published last night.

Episode 10, entitled “Home” doesn’t sounds as though it’s going to slow the pace down for Rick and co, and AMC has released a short synopsis for the episode:

As the group debates their next course of action, Rick wanders after a lost friend. Daryl and Merle question their choices. The Governor restores order in Woodbury and makes plans to punish those responsible.

Given where The Walking Dead left off last night, it’s no wonder fans have been left gasping for more; and fortunately the TV Gods saw fit to give us a couple of tasters for next week’s episode.

Merle and Daryl go it alone

As shown in the video above, Daryl and Merle look as thought they’re reconsidering their options out alone in the wilderness. Missing the comfort of a good cell block to sleep in, Daryl reminisces back to life with food, water and “a pot to piss in.”

Daryl appears to feel guilty about his choice to leave team Rick, even suggesting that they ought to go back and try to work it out together with them. Merle is however, considerably less hopeful and keen, and takes it upon himself to remind him that the Governor is on the warpath, and so his friends back at the prison may not be around for much longer.

What do you think Daryl should do? Will he go back to the prison and help his friends? Given Rick’s state of mind, do you think Daryl would be the best leader for the group or will Tyreese step up to the plate? And how do you think the prison survivors would react to Merle if he showed up with Daryl on the door step?

Tune in to the next episode of The Walking Dead on AMC, 9/8 ET/PT, Sunday Feb 18.
