It’s an exciting week on The Voice, with two future coaches taking the stage, and a massive elimination sending home some of our favorite contestants.
This week, The Voice will welcome to the stage Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani, both of whom will be joining the coaching team for season 7, alongside Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. On tonight’s show, Pharrell will be performing his new single “Come Get It Bae,” while Gwen will perform her 2004 hit “Hollaback Girl.”
Upping the ante this week is the most drastic elimination yet. Tomorrow night, three contestants will be sent home, instead of the normal two. It has never been more important for you to cast your votes for your favorite contestant. These are the teams after last week’s eliminations:
Team Adam: Delvin Choice, Christina Grimmie, Kat Perkins
Team Shakira: Kristen Merlin
Team Usher: Josh Kaufman
Team Blake: Sisaundra Lewis, Audra McLaughlin, Jake Worthington
Shakira and Usher both have only one team member remaining, so it’s possible that both coaches could be eliminated from the competition this week, if Kristen and Josh don’t pull in enough votes. Blake and Adam, the only coaches to ever win the show, seem pretty much unstoppable at this point.
