The Voice will kick off its season 3 premiere Monday with a performance of The Rolling Stones’ “Start Me Up” by coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera.

“Moves Like Jagger” singer Adam Levine rocks the guitar as the coaches start up the new season with a classic. Aguilera and Shelton cozy up together in a judge’s chair for the first verse but then join Levine and Cee Lo Green, in his frilly, all-white get-up, on stage. The quartet’s performance will lead into the season’s first blind auditions.

A new season of The Voice brings with it some changes – including the addition of a coach’s steal during the battle rounds.

“The steals actually became a silver lining and sustained something very special about the show in general – that optimism that if offers. That second and third opportunity for some, which is great,” Cee Lo said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “People get five or six chances on the show.”

NBC’s singing competition returns with a three-night premiere airing Monday, Sept. 10, Tuesday, Sept. 11 and Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. ET – the Wednesday episode coinciding with the season 2 premiere of Fox’s X Factor, which will introduce new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
