The Voice season 6 premiere airs tonight! We’ll tell you what to expect, and where to watch it online later if you can’t watch it when it airs live.

Everyone’s favorite talent competition show returns tonight for season 6 with some new talent and some familiar faces in those spinning red chairs.

Original coaches (and the only coaches ever to win the competition over 5 seasons) Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have returned for season 6, and will be joined by season 4 coaches Usher and Shakira. See if they fall back into the same chemistry they had in season 4, and if Usher and Shakira have gained some fresh perspective after their season 5 break (during which Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera returned to their posts).

One thing that hasn’t changed? The coaches’ talent. Check out Blake, Shakira, Usher and Adam as they try their hand at each other’s songs. Blake sings “Whenever, Wherever,” Shakira tries her hand at “Boys ‘Round Here,” Usher sings “Love Somebody,” and Adam closes it out with “Without You.” They all sound great, and remind us what great songs all four of those hits were in the first place.

Check out these sneak peaks of some of season 6’s most promising blind auditions: Bria Kelly and Christina Grimmie.

Kelly’s soulful and powerful performance of “Steamroller Blues” not only got a four-chair turn, but a standing ovation from all four judges, and had Usher calling her The Voice. Grimmie’s powerful take on Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” had the coaches not only fighting over her, but fighting over which one of them was willing to fight harder for her.

The coaches’ rivalry is still going strong as they battle for the most promising contestants, with Shakira identifying with the female contestants, Adam shamelessly begging, Usher shamelessly seducing, and Blake playing the Miranda Lambert card. We’ll see which approach is the most successful, and who ends up with the best team after the blind auditions.
