After 61 eliminations in the past three months, The Voice is just one night away from crowning its third winner and with only two coaches represented. Cassadee Pope, Terry McDermott and Nicholas David gave their all with three songs each on Monday’s performance episode.

Paying their respects to the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the four judges, Carson Daly, Christina Milian and 20 season 3 contestants opened the show with a beautiful performance of “Hallelujah” while holding cards with the names of each of the 26 victims of Friday’s massacre.

The finalists then went on to sing two solo songs and one duet with their coaches.

He later returned with a crowd favorite – “Lean On Me” – which he had performed earlier in the season. Coach Cee Lo Green joined him on stage for the all-too-perfect “Play That Funky Music.”
