The Voice battle rounds are over, and it’s time for the remaining contestants to battle one another for a place in the live shows.

It’s been a really promising season, with some of the best contestants we’ve ever seen on The Voice. The coaches have already had a hard time making decisions about who to keep on their team in the battle rounds (looking at you, Pharrell,) so the knockouts are sure to be no easier.

The knockouts will once again see two contestants from the same team battling one another. Unlike the battle rounds, however, each contestant will be singing a different song, instead of singing a duet. The contestants get to pick their own song, one that will best represent their voice and where they want to go with their career. After both performances, their coach can pick only one contestant to advance to the live shows. But the other coaches will have the opportunity to steal the eliminated contestants.

Season 8 advisor: Nate Ruess

The coaches won’t be on their own to help mentor their teams in preparation for their knockout battles. They will be joined by season 8’s advisor, Nate Ruess from Fun! Nate certainly knows his way around a hit song, and has proven himself to be a great performer. He knows how to use his own voice to its greatest effect onstage, and hopefully he will help the contestants to make the most of their own performances.

After the battle rounds, the teams are as follows:

Team Adam:

Barry Minniefield, Blaze Johnson, Clinton Washington, Deanna Johnson, Joshua Davis, Lexi Davila, Nathan Hermida, Tonya Boyd-Cannon.

Team Pharrell:

Anthony Riley, Caitlin Caporale, Hannah Kirby, Jacob Rummell, Lowell Oakley, Mia Z, Paul Pfau, Sawyer Fredericks.

Team Christina:
