The Voice continued to discover new talent in the third week of season 3 blind auditions.

The coaches got picky and Cee Lo showed us he knows how to turn someone down gently (by performing “Forget You” with eliminated contestant VJ) as all four coaches filled up 14 spots on their teams, leaving just two left to fill next week.

1. Michelle Brooks-Thompson

The mother of two and wife to a former football player, Michelle Brooks-Thompson kicked off the third week of blind auditions with “Proud Mary.” Team Adam scored the powerhouse vocalist even though Cee Lo and Christina also pushed their buttons.

2. Cassadee Pope

Former Hey Monday vocalist (and Hypable Band of the Week recommendation) Cassadee Pope got all four coaches to turn their chairs with her take on “Torn.” She chose Team Blake.

3. Terisa Griffin

Sassy 42-year-old Terisa Griffin pulled off Adele’s emotional “Someone Like You” beautifully. It took a little coaxing but Christina and Blake turned around to get interrogated by the songstress. She surprisingly chose to go with Team Blake.

4. Brandon Mahone

Smooth crooner Brandon Mahone took on “I Wish It Would Rain” and got Adam, Cee Lo and Christina to turn around. The soulful 17-year-old, inspired by The Temptations, Smokey Robinson and Gladys Knight, chose Team Adam despite soulman Cee Lo Green’s attempts at winning him over.

5. Alexis Marceaux

Hurricane Katrina survivor Alexis Marceaux earned herself a spot on Team Cee Lo with her rendition of “Go Your Own Way” and her “smart girl chic” look. Audiences also learned that “rocker chicks turn [Cee Lo] on” thanks to her performance.

6. Charlie Rey

Singing Michael Buble’s version of “Home,” 20-year-old car mechanic Charlie Rey got Blake and Adam to push their buttons and fight over the California native. Charlie chose to go with Team Blake.

7. Suzanna Choffel

Texas music teacher Suzanna Choffel took on “Landslide” for her blind audition. The seasoned performer chose to go with Team Blake.

8. Sylvia Yacoub

Originally from Egypt, Sylvia Yacoub auditioned on The Voice to pursue a career her mother had been unable to pursue as woman in the Middle East. Her rendition of Rihanna’s “Only Girl In The World” won over Christina, Cee Lo and Blake, with Sylvia choosing Team Xtina.

9. Dez Duron

Pretty boy (and Elvis look-a-like, according to Blake) Louisiana native Dez Duron auditioned for The Voice in season 2 with a Backstreet Boys song. He went more old-school this time around with Hall & Oates’ “Sara Smile” and won over Blake, Christina and Cee Lo, ultimately going with Team Xtina.

10. Diego Val

The Peruvian native gave a raspy, slightly nasally performance of “Animal,” which earned him a spot on Team Cee Lo. Adam and Christina seemed okay with that because they have plans to possibly “snatch” him up later.

Tune in to The Voice next Monday and Tuesday on NBC.
