The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley discusses the end of season 3, and previews what’s to come in season 4 in a video interview.
In the video, Wesley admits that he “didn’t buy” the fact that Stefan would ever have let Elena drown, as he did in the season 3 finale. “I personally think Stefan would have just went, ‘I don’t really care what the hell you have to say,’ and would have grabbed her,” Wesley says, “but it is a story and frustrating things happen in life and stories.”
On season 4, he predicts that Stefan will have a lot of guilt about what happened, and that, “It’s going to be a completely different show now.”
