Excited for tonight’s The Vampire Diaries episode? See the images for the upcoming episode “The Killer”!

The images were released by The CW and posted online at TV Overmind. They show the alliance of Stefan and Klaus against Connor (and notice how perky Elena is looking – it seems like she found a way to feed!), as well as Bonnie with Professor Shane (David Alpay). The two will have a very intriguing relationship, which we can’t wait to see develop!
The episode description for “The Killer” reads:
THE HUNTER’S MARK — Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) form an uneasy alliance to try and contain the danger that Connor (guest star Todd Williams) has unleashed on the town. When Connor takes Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Matt (Zach Roerig) and April (guest star Grace Phipps) hostage at the Grill, Stefan and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) have a serious disagreement about the best course of action, and Elena (Nina Dobrev) is again caught between the two brothers. The situation quickly turns violent when Klaus sends one of his hybrids, Dean (guest star Blake Hood, “The Young and the Restless”) to stand up to Connor. Caroline (Candice Accola) is surprised to find Hayley (guest star Phoebe Tonkin) at the Lockwood mansion. Meanwhile, Professor Shane (guest star David Alpay) works with Bonnie (Kat Graham) to help her get past her fear and guilt.
As tonight’s episode “The Rager” is the third of The Vampire Diaries season 4, a lot can have happened by this episode, which is episode five. Tonight is when Klaus will first enter the fight against Connor, and in next week’s episode “The Five,” we’ll learn that the Originals may have an unexpected history with Connor and his people! It’s probably all tied to that mysterious tattoo, don’t you think? “The Five” is also where Bonnie will first meet Shane, and it seems from these images like she’ll quickly begin to come to him for help with her magic!
Aside from these images, you can also see more promotional images released for “The Five,” that show Elena and Damon attending a frat party at the local college and scenes from a flashback featuring Klaus and Elijah.
