The Vampire Diaries season 5 is shaping up to be even more complicated than any previous season, and now we have more stills to prove it. Check out stills from episodes 7 and 8!
While it may be a bit confusing with all the doppelgangers running around on The Vampire Diaries, at least it’s usually easy to tell them apart, what with Elena, Katherine, and Amara all having different hairstyles.
Check out a few stills from the next two episodes of The Vampire Diaries, “Death and the Maiden” and “Dead Man on Campus.”
First, from The Vampire Diaries season 5, episode 7, “Death and the Maiden,” we get a glance at Tessa who is obviously working some of her own magic with both Elena and Katherine, while either Silas or Stefan (not sure which is appearing here) and Damon are trying to solve whatever dilemma is facing the Mystic Falls scooby gang this week.

While there’s not a lot to theorize based on those photos, it is nice to see that Tessa is going to continue to be a factor, as she has been quite entertaining these past few episodes. We shall see what she has in store for our favorite Mystic Falls vamps.
Second, check out these stills from The Vampire Diaries season 5, episode 8, “Dead Man on Campus” that definitely have us intrigued about what may be going on at Whitmore College.

Both Caroline and an Amara doppelganger (is that Elena or Katherine?) are having a blast at some sort of soiree, especially since Caroline seems to be getting cozy with someone new.
