After last Thursday’s shocking The Vampire Diaries cliffhanger, we were very angry to learn that we’d have to wait three weeks to find out what happened to Alaric! But a small spoiler snippet may help reveal his fate.

E! Online reports that while nothing has been revealed about whether Alaric survives the shot (assuming that Meredith did in fact shoot him), Matt Davis is still filming the show in Atlanta!

Unless it’s another ‘Ghost World’ episode, we’d say that’s a good indication that he survives. But we’ll of course keep you updated as we learn more about this situation.
