It’s going to be an emotional goodbye tonight when Jeremy finally leaves Mystic Falls and heads to art school.
Last week on ‘The Vampire Diaries’
It was a tough time for everyone on the last episode of The Vampire Diaries. Bonnie was suicidal, Caroline was struggling with the fact that she couldn’t control anything, and everyone was sad Bonnie wasn’t there for her birthday. But then things started looking up: Caroline found the Miss Cuddles bear she buried in the woods and bonded with Stefan; Kai actually got feelings thanks to his merge with Luke, meaning he actually helped Elena, Damon and Jeremy connect with Bonnie; and Jeremy was able to keep Bonnie from killing herself just in the nick of time.
Now, thanks to Kai and Damon, Bonnie is on her way to Nova Scotia to find Silas’ headstone so she can use the magic in it to get home somehow. Caroline and Stefan are definitely getting friendlier, and Elena and Damon are bonding closer than ever, even without Elena’s memories.
This week we say goodbye (again)
Yet another character is leaving Mystic Falls, but this time it’s not by dying! At least, that’s what we’re hoping. Jeremy is going off to art school and so everyone will be saying goodbye. Will we get a glimpse of Bonnie despite the Jeremy-heavy episode? We hope so!
The synopsis for the episode reads, “It’s Jeremy’s last day in Mystic Falls and Elena puts on a brave face as they reminisce about their past. Stefan and Caroline find themselves growing closer as they prepare Caroline’s family cabin for her mother to live out her final days. While packing up her office, Sheriff Forbes turns to Damon for help solving one of her remaining open cases involving Elena’s parents. Elsewhere, when a violent confrontation with Enzo leaves Jeremy wondering whether he should leave or not, Matt finds his own life on the line after Enzo lures him and Sarah Salvatore into his dangerous plan. Lastly, Caroline rushes to the hospital after learning her mother has taken a turn for the worse.”
We have a feeling that someone is going to die, but we hope that’s just us.
