The Vampire Diaries actors Steven R. McQueen has made a few new comments about season 5, Jeremy and Bonnie’s relationship, and The Originals.
Fans were relieved to see Bonnie bring Jeremy back to life in The Vampire Diaries season 4 finale. But what’s next for the only remaining human Gilbert?
Hollywood Life has a short new interview with McQueen, where he jokes about Jeremy and Bonnie’s relationship in season 5.
He says, “Well, have you seen Ghost with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore? Its going to be exactly like that! I’m going to mold some clay, and it’s going to be beautiful.”
McQueen also says he thinks Jeremy might be going back to school, but, “it’s all [up to] the amazing writers. I’m putting all my trust and hope in them to make a good show for us all.”
Finally, when asked if he might pop over and visit Klaus and the gang on The Originals, he admits that, “I hope so. It’s always fun to hang out with the Originals!”
The Vampire Diaries season 5 will premiere Thursday, October 10, airing at its usual time of 8/7c. It’ll be followed by new CW drama series Reign.
The Originals premieres the following Tuesday, October 15, airing at 8/7c.
