The Vampire Diaries season 5 premieres in exactly one week on The CW.
Star Candice Accola (Caroline) has done several interviews to preview what will happen when her character goes to college, and where this will leave her relationship with Tyler (Michael Trevino).
At the end of The Vampire Diaries season 4, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) finally allowed Tyler to return to Mystic Falls, but promised Caroline that whatever happened, he would be her last love.
It also looks like there’s a new man on the horizon for Caroline: Jesse (played by Kendrick Sampson), whom she meets at college.
