There have been a few quick items released over the last day or so that definitely hint at interesting things to come in The Vampire Diaries season 4 for Jeremy, Elijah and the rest of the Mystic Falls crew.
First we have a quick bit from Michael Ausiello over at tvline.com. He was asked for some Jeremy scoop and replied in kind:
“The first seed of Jer’s big Season 4 arc will be planted in Episode 2, airing Oct. 18. Meanwhile, that same episode may set a new Guinness record for featuring the highest concentration of bloody puke in a single hour-long episode of television.”
We are excited to see what Jeremy’s big Season 4 arc will be, especially since he is now the sole living member of the Gilbert family. Will this new arc bring turmoil for Jeremy, or maybe a new love interest? Only time will tell…
Also, blood is definitely not new for Vampire Diaries fans, but bloody puke? Intriguing. Is it October yet?
The second bit of spoilery news we have is from Natalie Abrams over at tvguide.com. She was asked for some information about Dan Gilles’ return to the series as Elijah and she had this to say:
“Elijah will definitely be back. In fact, Gillies just told us about a recent flashback scene he filmed. “It was the 11th century,” Gillies says. “It was an episode that depicted a brand new menace on The Vampire Diaries and not just a menace to the beautiful boys and girls of Mystic Falls, but also to the Originals. A big threat.”
Here is yet another mention of the mysterious new baddie that will be threatening the lives of our Mystic Falls crew. We have to admit that after having what seemed like the ultimate bad guy in Klaus last season, we were a little concerned about how they could top the crazy, sadistic Original, but it sounds like they have done just that.
We can always trust Julie Plec and the fantastic writing staff over at The Vampire Diaries to surprise us with an even better story season after season, and we can’t wait to see them outdo themselves once again in season 4.
