We think it’s safe to say that if she hasn’t yet at this point, Elena will be getting her humanity back at some point in the season 4 finale – she seems way too emotional in some of these shots (though she still has her rebellious pink streak!)

It seems like Damon might have suffered an injury… or perhaps Elena is feeling his heart beating?!

And speaking of hearts, look at the Klaus/Caroline proximity! Maybe Caroline will put her graduation goggles on and get all nostalgic about Klaus leaving Mystic Falls.

Finally, it appears that the ghosts are popping up, as we know they will from the finale episode synopsis. And we can’t forget about the cure, which it seems like someone will indeed be taking before the end of the season!

Speaking to Digital Spy, Joseph Morgan (Klaus) teases who will get the cure, saying, “I can tell you it’s not what you think. I can tell you that it’s going to be… I think it’s going to be a surprise for everyone. It certainly took me unawares.”

In an interview with TV Guide, EP Julie Plec talks about Elena’s role in the finale. She brings up the sire bond, and the ever-present love triangle.

Plec speculates, “If she [turns her humanity back on], will the sire bond be back in effect or gone? If it’s gone, what are her feelings for Damon vs. her feelings for Stefan? The whole season has been trying to get Elena back to who she was, so everything will be answered in the finale.”

We can’t wait! This Thursday’s episode is titled “She’s Come Undone,” and the following week is “The Walking Dead.” And then it’s Graduation time!
