The Vampire Diaries is back Thursday with the second episode of season 4, “Memorial.” You can see a sneak peek featuring Elena, Damon and Stefan here.
The sneak peek for “Memorial” cuts between three scenes: Elena and Stefan waking up together in the woods, Damon and Stefan discussing whether Elena will be able to live off animal blood, and finally Elena contemplating whether she can really kill Bambi.
Let’s hope this plays out like in the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 trailer, and Elena will go for the mountain lion that’ll conveniently appear!
Do you think that Elena will be able to resist her urges for human blood, and will be okay with just consuming animal blood like Stefan is hoping? Damon has been very matter-of-fact about what her transformation will mean – is he maybe thinking that she’ll turn out like Katherine, now that she has lost her humanity?
The Vampire Diaries season 4 premiere episode seemed to establish that Elena is sticking with her human choice of Stefan, but Julie Plec has already revealed that this is in no way the end of the controversial love triangle.
