According to TV Line Candice King will be reprising her role as Caroline on The Originals season 5 premiere, set for 2018. However, there are no other details about what will happen when Caroline heads down to New Orleans.
When fans last saw Caroline on The Vampire Diaries she had just married Stefan only to have him die the next day. It was a really saw ending for her on that show, but it opens up a lot more possibilities for the character on The Originals.
No doubt shippers will be hoping that her role becomes more permanent and she finds some real happiness with Klaus. Because there’s no denying those two have some serious chemistry!
