The Tomorrow People has released a new synopsis, stills, and clips in advance of its third episode “Girl, Interrupted.”

The synopsis for the third episode “Girl, Interrupted” indicates that tensions will continue to rise between Stephen (Robbie Amell) and John (Luke Mitchell) as Stephen struggles to find his place in the war between the Tomorrow People and Ultra. In last week’s episode Stephen wanted to denounce Ultra but John and Cara (Peyton List) convinced him to stay and be a double agent. The synopsis for “Girl, Interrupted” also suggests that Stephen and Cara will grow closer, perhaps creating a love triangle on the CW show.

“Stephen (Robbie Amell) reluctantly attends a party with Astrid (Madeleine Mantock) but is startled when he hears that one of his classmates is in peril. Desperate to help, Stephen turns to John (Luke Mitchell) and Cara (Peyton List), but they make it clear that they do not help humans. Stephen secretly tries to enlist Cara’s help, which brings up her own feelings about her traumatic past. Meanwhile, John gives Stephen a mission to infiltrate Ultra’s main computer to help give them an advantage in finding new break-outs.”

Based on the promo and clip from “Girl, Interrupted,” it looks like when the Tomorrow People attempt to help a breakout, they are lured into a trap by Ultra and Cara is taken. Do you think Stephen will have to reveal his double agent status to get her out of Ultra’s compound?

The stills do not reveal much more than the synopsis however indicate that Astrid and Stephen have made up after last week’s episode where he forgot they had plans. It is still unclear if the series is planning on turning their friendship into a romance. What do you think?
