This, of course, won’t be the first time the classic novel has been adapted. However, The Secret Garden is beloved for a reason, so fans are sure to enjoy seeing their favorite scenes on the big screen once more. The film has also made a few changes to the story, most notably changing its setting from the turn of the 20th century up to 1947.

Based on the Frances Hodgson Burnett classic novel of the same name, The Secret Garden centers on Mary Lennox, a young girl who is sent to England to live with her uncle. While there, she discovers a magical garden on the grounds of his estate. Mary also meets the cousin she didn’t know she had, wheelchair-bound Colin Craven.

And though her uncle wants nothing more than to keep his son bedridden, Mary makes it her goal to show him the magic of the garden so he can live a life beyond the walls of the house.

The Secret Garden stars Dixie Egerickx as Mary Lennox, Colin Firth as her uncle Lord Archibald Craven, Edan Hayhurst as Colin Craven, Amir Wilson as Dickon and Julie Walters as Mrs. Medlock.

The Secret Garden opens in theaters in 2020.
