The season premiere of Doctor Who is heading to the big screen!

There’s a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming season of Doctor Who and now, fans looking forward to experiencing Jodie Whittaker’s take on the iconic Time Lord have the option to do so amongst fellow Whovians.

In a press release sent out on Thursday (September 27), Fathom Events and BBC Studios Americas announced that they’ll be bringing the thirteenth Doctor to the big screen at select theaters nationwide just a few days after the season premiere hits the small screen.

Special event screenings for “The Woman Who Fell To Earth,” the first episode of the newest season, are scheduled to take place on October 10 and October 11 beginning at 7:30 p.m. local time.

In addition to screening the premiere episode, the two-night theatrical event will also include special never before seen bonus content that’ll give fans a sneak peek at the making of the beloved sci-fi series.

Screenings will be taking place at nearly 700 theaters across the United States including at theaters located in Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Orlando, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, St. Louis, Albuquerque, New York City, and Philadelphia.

Additionally, tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased via the Fathom Events website or at participating movie theater box offices.

The latest season of Doctor Who is scheduled to premiere in the United States on Sunday, October 7 on BBC America. The state-side premiere will be timed to the U.K. broadcast.
