Stars of The Room, Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero, are coming back to the big screen with Best F(r)iends!

Hot on the heels of The Disaster Artist, the now infamous Tommy Wiseau has penned another cinematic adventure. Just like his first film, The Room, Best F(r)iends stars himself and his own best friend, Greg Sestero.

Also like The Room, it appears that Best F(r)iends begins with the meeting of two friends, and “a dream.” Unfortunately, it looks like that dream is about to be crushed by “greed, hatred, and jealousy!” Even the title is indicative of friends becoming enemies, or fiends.

The story and setting of The Room were relatively modest and simple, but the same can’t be said for Best F(r)iends, which appears to feature high stakes shoot outs, car chases, and death.

The Room was such an unexpected cult classic, so we can’t wait to see what Wiseau and Sestero can do with even more action and drama. If the trailer is any indication, it could be just as delightfully strange as its predecessor.

Luckily, Best F(r)iends will see a much wider initial release than The Room, which premiered in one theatre. The new movie is separated into two parts, or “volumes,” with Volume 1 being released in 600 theatres on March 30 and April 2, and Volume 2 seeing the same release on June 1 and June 4.
