In new interviews Joseph Morgan, Charles Michael Davis, and Phoebe Tonkin discuss the plot-lines coming up for their characters on The Originals season 1.
Joseph Morgan, who plays Klaus, reveals that the first episode of The Originals will fill in the gaps from the pilot that aired during The Vampire Diaries season 4. It will follow the same timeline, but give more details and go further at the end than the pilot.
Specifically, fans will see more of Elijah and his dealings with the witches.
Charles Michael Davis, who plays Marcel, says he hopes, “You’re not going to love to hate him; you’re going to love to love him!”Adding that fans will understand Marcel better as more is uncovered about the character in the first few episodes.
He also teased there will be a lot of opportunities for love interests for Marcel.
Phoebe Tonkin reveals Hayley originally went to New Orleans to find out more about the family she never knew but runs into some dead ends.
Tonkin also says that neither Klaus nor Hayley ever expected their one night stand to go any farther than that.
The Originals premieres after the first episode of The Vampire Diaries season 4 on Thursday, October 3, airing at 9 p.m. EST on The CW. After this, The Originals will air Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
