It’s been a very long time since the Mikaelson offspring were all alive at the same time. The Originals season 3, episode 16 has them all back in the flesh and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
We can’t decide which reunion we’re looking forward to more, Finn and Freya, or Finn and Kol. As far as the terrible trio is concerned, we can’t imagine that Finn Mikaelson is very excited to see them, but it’s been centuries since he saw his big sister. We’ve never seen Freya and Finn interact on screen outside of her visions of him, when she used his soul in the necklace to channel him. We are eager to see the two eldest Mikaelsons reunited.
This also raises some interesting questions: Will Freya still be loyal to Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah? Or will she find her loyalties tested by the presence of Kol and Finn in their lives.
We do know that Finn is not going to be happy to see Kol, what with him having had a pretty substantial role in removing him from Vincent’s body and sending him back to the land of the dead. The Mikaelsons don’t forgive all that easily, but who knows, maybe Finn will find it in his heart to forgive his baby brother. It would be all to0 kind of him, and we really don’t want to see Finn and Kol trying to destroy each other. Been there, done that as far as the Mikaelsons go.
We are so very eager to see how Klaus, Hope, and Hayley do on the road together. Thanks to the official synopsis, we know that they haven’t just hit the road, but are on the way back to the pack that Hayley once ran with, back when Tyler Lockwood went looking for some werewolf allies to help him break his sire bond. Remember those days?
This episode promises to be a good one, and we can’t wait to see how it kicks off the final seven episodes of the season. We’re in the home stretch and we can’t wait to see where things go from here.
