Aurora has the only substance on Earth that can kill an Original, and she’s ready to use it. Elsewhere, Aya works to free the vampire race from their sires once and for all.
Aya is proving herself to be quite the adversary to the Mikaelsons in Tristan’s absence. Who knew that she would put up such a fight when we first met her? Check out what both Aya and Aurora were up to in The Originals season 3, episode 13.
Aurora’s Got a Gun
She’s armed and dangerous. Based on the previews for this episode, it appeared that Aurora had it out for Klaus, but minutes into the episode, we learned that Elijah was her actual target. She wanted to kill Klaus’ brother and make him watch as the White Oak burned Elijah’s body and took him from this world. She’s not a great shot, however, so while she managed to shoot Elijah with a White Oak bullet, it didn’t touch his heart.
She’s got plaaaaans, they’re multiplying…
Aya is just a plan-making factory. She wants to be unlinked from her Original sire, and she will stop at nothing to free herself and the rest of the Strix. She has bribed Davina into helping her, but is willing to do whatever it takes to complete the spell. When Davina learns from Kol that the missing ingredient is the heart of an unsired vampire, Aya rushes to rip Hayley’s heart out of her chest. Marcel procures a replacement that should do just fine (thanks for the post-humous assist, Jackson) and keep Hayley alive.
Minutes after getting what she needs for the spell, Aya throws in her lot with Aurora. Aurora was scary enough when she was working by herself. With an ally? Look out, Mikaelsons.
Million Dollar Vampire
Hayley and Cami had some bonding time in The Originals season 3, episode 13. It was nice to see someone looking out for Cami purely for Cami’s sake. Hayley knows what it’s like to make that transition, and rather than give Cami another lecture, she decides to help Cami hone her skills. As a newbie vampire, she will be vulnerable if she has to go up against vamps that have been around for a century or more.
