The final episode of The Office is just a few weeks away and star John Krasinski has created a unique and fun way for fans of the show to say farewell: a web series.
Released exclusively today on EW.com, The Office: The Farewells is a 10-episode web series featuring none other than comedy legend Will Ferrell, who appeared on The Office as Deangelo Vickers. Will, who can’t be bothered to put down his salad because his trainer will get pissed if he doesn’t eat every three hours, takes us back to some of the highlights of Deangelo’s character and some fun behind-the-scenes memories from the show.
The series will feature memorable guest stars as well as other “Dunder Mifflin favorites” according to EW.com, and will be rolled out over the next couple of weeks.
Are there any guest stars from the nine season of The Office that you would like to come on to Krasinski’s farewell series? Ricky Gervais, Amy Adams, Kathy Bates and Jim Carrey would all be fantastic additions to what is sure to be a hilarious and memorable web series for fans of the long-time NBC comedy.
The Office’s ninth and final season will come to a close on May 16 this year.
