HBO is finally ready to let us all in on the specifics for their fall season, starting with the premiere date for The Newsroom season 3.

No new trailers or stills yet, but as November creeps ever closer we now know that The Newsroom season 3’s final six episodes will premiere on November 9, 2014 at 9:00pm. We hope that the following five episodes will air back to back, meaning that the series would conclude on December 14, 2014, but those details will be confirmed as the premiere gets closer.

HBO took to twitter to be sure that we all knew when our favorite news team would be hitting the small screen again:

We don’t know much about what they have in store for us for season 3 of The Newsroom, but we do know that Sorkin is determined to end the show on a high note, despite the trouble that has brewed behind the scenes for the talented screenwriter.

We got a brief and footage-less teaser trailer a few weeks ago during the True Blood series finale that got our blood pumping, so now we all wait in earnest to see what Sorkin and the powers that be have in mind for the final season of The Newsroom.

You can check out that teaser trailer here, and make sure to let us know in the comments what you think will be going on when the News Night crew hit the airwaves again.

What would you like to see happen in ‘The Newsroom’s’ final season?
