HBO has released a poster for Aaron Sorkin’s upcoming drama The Newsroom, promising “more as this story develops.”

The show stars Jeff Daniels as Will McAvoy, the influential lead anchor of a popular 24-hour cable news channel, who must deal with the backlash after a rant filled with unpopular political beliefs. Emily Mortimer (Hugo), Alison Pill (Midnight in Paris), John Gallgher Jr. (Margaret), Olivia Munn (Magic Mike), Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire), Thomas Sadoski (Happy Hour), Jane Fonda (Coming Home) and Sam Waterston (“Law & Order”) also star.

What do you think of the minimalist poster? It’s certainly stylish, and works well when accompanied with the clever tagline, “More as this story develops.” Fun fact: This tagline was a long-rumored title for the show, before HBO went with a more marketable title, of course.
