Last week The Mortal Instruments San Diego Comic-Con panel was announced and fan favorite Godfrey Gao was not on the list.
Just a few days before the panel announcement, fans had started a Twitter campaign to get Godfrey to Comic-Con, so when the panel was announced, they were disappointed that he wasn’t included. But as of this morning that has all changed.

Gao plays Mangus Bane, the High Warlock of Brooklyn. His character is rather mysterious and holds the secret to Clary’s past. The only glimpse fans have had of Gao is from the early on set report from MTV other than that there was only a glimpse of him in the trailers.
