With The Mindy Project season 3 premiering this week, we take a look at the video clips released and news announced about the season.

The Mindy Project season 3 episode 1, as we’ve previously reported, is entitled “We’re a Couple Now, Haters.” Originally, it was “We’re a Couple Now, Bitches,” but Mindy Kaling reported they had to change the title to make it Fox-approved, TV-appropriate.

Over the past few days, Mindy Kaling has been seemingly everywhere and Fox has released quite a few clips that give a sneak peek into what season 3 will look like.

In one video, Danny pulls Mindy into a supplies closet at work, disgruntled with how open she is with the rest of the office about their relationship. Knowing this group for two seasons, it doesn’t surprise he would be a little concerned – his mouth skills are of no concern to anyone but Mindy.

With Danny setting boundaries, it will test Mindy’s limits, as we know she is not one to just change herself completely for a man (well, at the very least, she’ll stick to her core values and not apologize). Will this have them walking on eggshells around each other? Let’s hope not – they’ve got bigger problems coming down the pike (Mrs. Castellano).

However, where Danny needs to reel Mindy in, Mindy will have to open Danny up. His hesitancy to share and be open with his feelings often frustrates the viewers, and can leave Mindy irritated as well. But we’ll reserve judgement until we find out who the pink thong with ‘Diamond’ on it belongs to.
