The Mindy Project season 2, episode 9 “Mindy Lahiri is a Racist” just finished airing on Fox. Now you can read our recap and discuss the story line with fellow fans.

Here are the highlights from The Mindy Project season 2, episode 9 “Mindy Lahiri is a Racist”:

• Morgan decides to test new protection gear for when he rescues dogs. It backfires when the dog grabs his junk instead of the protection on his arm. Tamara makes it worse by using the tranquilizer gun on him.
• To try and make up the sexting incident to Mindy, Morgan brings her donuts in the morning. Things get awkward when they run into Cliff on the elevator. He tells Mindy that he’s taking Heather out on another date. She makes him feel weird by quoting one of his texts. Cliff tells Morgan he’s a bad person.
• Nancy compliments Danny on their office and tells him that she writes about them on her mommy blog. When she over hears Mindy yelling at Tamara, she says she doesn’t like everyone in the office.
• The midwife brothers show up to tell Schulman & Associates about Whitfield running for office and are upset when they can’t hang up their posters.
• Peter tells Mindy he wants to be a senior partner, but Mindy tries to talk him out of it by saying it’s cooler to be a junior partner.
• At first, Danny is excited to read Nancy’s mommy blog. Until they realize that it’s a white supremacy blog.
• The midwives start a protest against Schulman & Associates and Nancy’s mommy blog. Jeremy brings in Priscilla to help them come up with a strategy to turn their situation around.
• Mindy and Tamara meet for dinner to write their statement supporting Schulman & Associates. Mindy is annoyed that Tamara’s boyfriend crashes the dinner and won’t leave. But Tamara gets annoyed when Mindy says that she hates him and leaves.
• The next morning, Mindy and Danny are shocked to see Tamara rallying with the midwives against Mindy. When Mindy tries to explain everything, she only makes it worse.
• To try and make it up to Cliff, Morgan offers to let him beat him up. When Cliff says he doesn’t want to, Morgan has his friend do it. Too bad Cliff accidentally gets punched instead.
• Tamara admits that she does’t think Mindy is racist but does look down on her employees too much. Mindy apologizes and they make up.
• Trying to fix things, Mindy gets up to the mic and explains that Schulman & Associates is not racist. She uses Danny’s sex life of sleeping with women with different races as an example. Then says that Peter will be making a mobile health unit to help women of need.
• Jeremy agrees to consider Peter as a senior partner for saving them and getting people to turn their way.
