The Mindy Project season 2, episode 6 “Bro Club For Dudes” just finished airing on Fox. Now you can read our recap and discuss the story line with fellow fans.

Here are the highlights from The Mindy Project season 2, episode 6 “Bro Club For Dudes”:

• Mindy announced that they will turn their outside patio into a gazebo and garden for patients. Peter thinks they should make the space a grill/basketball area instead.
• Later, she trips on Peter and Morgan wrestling. This only adds to her annoyance towards Peter for his multiple insults on her looks.
• Morgan asks Tamara to stay late with him and clear out the back patio to surprise Mindy.
• Danny tells her not to worry about Peter because he’s just stressed out. So she decides to take him out for lunch as the USA Girl Cafe to try and get to know him. But Peter thinks it’s a bad idea because Mindy only wants to do things that she wants to do.
• Because the lunch went badly – Mindy tells Danny she wants to fire Peter. He backs up Peter and tells her to take interest in something he likes. So he invites them to their guys night out.
• When Mindy arrives at the event Danny invited her to, she’s shocked to find it’s an MMA arena. She’s even more shocked to hear that Peter is going to take place in a fight himself. Things look up when she runs into an old patient Marie (played by Kendra Wilkinson)!
• Jeremy, Danny, and Mindy try to pump up Peter for his fight by trash talking him. It works well until Mindy brings up the news that his ex has just gotten engaged. Now, Peter doesn’t have the will to defend himself.
• While Peter gets beat up in the ring, Morgan gets beat up backstage by Tamara’s boyfriend. Mindy uses her connection with Marie to get into the ring and talk to Peter. She tries to talk him into quitting the fight so he doesn’t get killed. But Peter refuses to give up so Mindy tells him to think of someone he hates.
• The pep talk seems to be working and Peter gets in a few good punches. That is – until he gets knocked out and ends up in the hospital getting stitches.
• Although she was lousy at helping him with the fight, Mindy tells Peter she’s there to talk about ex’s anytime. With Peter high on pain medication they have a nice moment.
• Jason the journalist shows up the hospital and breaks it off with Mindy for accidentally forgetting about him. But that’s okay, they weren’t a good couple anyways.
• Despite his feelings for her, Morgan covers for Tamara so she can go out with her boyfriend to celebrate their anniversary.
• The guys get their wish and Mindy puts a basketball hoop on the patio. But they still manage to annoy her.
