Get ready for The Martian: Extended Edition, featuring science-friendly bonus content and 10 more minutes of Mark Watney the Badass Botanist.

The Martian‘s cinematic cut was already good enough to land Ridley Scott’s latest space epic seven Oscar nominations, but the Extended Edition is still gonna add an extra 10 minutes of footage to the 2.5-hour long movie.

The movie starred Matt Damon as space botanist Mark Watney, who was stranded on Mars after his team believed him to be dead.

Mark survived on space potatoes, sciencing the shit out of everything until NASA and his loyal fellow astronauts devised a way to bring him home.

The movie was not only entertaining and intense, but it also served as a genuine love letter to science — in fact, even Neil DeGrasse Tyson was hard-pressed to find many faults with the Andy Weir adaptation.

Hitting shelves on June 7, 2016, The Martian: Extended Edition will give us lots of exciting bonus content, not only about the film but about the scientific processes of NASA.

There’s a science documentary (YASSS!), interviews with NASA specialists, and revelations about NASA’s plans for a manned Mars expedition. The Extended Edition also features an audio commentary with director Ridley Scott, author Andy Weir and screenwriter Drew Goddard.

Here’s a full list of the bonus content included on the Extended Edition:

We don’t know about you, but we’ve cancelled all our plans for June 7. Space science, here we come!
