Director Guy Ritchie’s new film, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., shows Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer teaming up to fight a Nazi organization, with a little comedy thrown in.

Henry Cavill will be seen in the highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film as Superman in 2016, but first we’ll be seeing him in Guy Ritchie’s latest film on August 14. Earlier today we saw some images of Cavill, along with Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, and Jared Harris.

The film is based on the ’60s television series, with Henry Cavill starring as Napoleon Solo, a CIA agent who is forced to work with a KGB agent to stop an international crime organization. Check out the film’s first official trailer:

The trailer for the movie is much lighter in tone than we imagined, and it’s ironic to see Cavill using an American accent, while his co-star Armie Hammer sports a Russian accent as the two team up to fight Nazis. Check out the film’s official synopsis below:

“Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ centers on CIA agent Solo and KGB agent Kuryakin. Forced to put aside longstanding hostilities, the two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organization, which is bent on destabilizing the fragile balance of power through the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology. The duo’s only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organization, and they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.”

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. will hit theaters August 14, and we look forward to seeing Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer as they team up on the big screen.
