Director Guy Ritchie’s new film, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., stars Henry Cavill, and these new images look like they’ve come straight out of a Bond film.

Henry Cavill will be seen in the highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film as Superman in 2016, but first we’ll be seeing him in Guy Ritchie’s latest film on August 14. In these new images, we see Cavill, along with Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, and Jared Harris.

The film is based on the ’60s television series, with Henry Cavill starring as Napoleon Solo, a CIA agent who is forced to work with a KGB agent to stop an international crime organization. Check out the film’s latest images, along with a new poster, which will be followed up later today by the film’s first official trailer:

We know Daniel Craig has Bond all wrapped up right now, but Henry Cavill is nailing the Bond-look in these images, and if we didn’t know that a new James Bond was already being filmed, we’d suggest Cavill take a crack at the international spy. Read the film’s official synopsis, as it seems to be shaping up like a solid film:

“Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ centers on CIA agent Solo and KGB agent Kuryakin. Forced to put aside longstanding hostilities, the two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organization, which is bent on destabilizing the fragile balance of power through the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology. The duo’s only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organization, and they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.”

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. will hit theaters August 14, and we look forward to seeing Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer teaming up on the big screen.
