The Magicians season 4 is officially a go over on Syfy!

Syfy revealed via a press release sent out on Wednesday (February 28) evening that they have officially given the go-ahead for The Magicians season 4.

It’s great news for of the hit Universal Cable Productions drama, which is currently eight episodes into its third season.

As part of the renewal announcement, the network also revealed a few more details with regards to the forthcoming season.

Per the press release, Syfy also revealed that just like seasons 1, 2, and 3, season 4 will also be comprised of a total of 13 episodes.

The Magicians season 4 is set to premiere sometime in 2019. While no official date has been given, we’re guessing Syfy will follow suit with past premiere dates and debut the new season sometime in January.

This season, our favorite characters have been keeping busy as they continue to search for the seven keys needed to restore the magic that was turned off toward the end of season 2.

We’re excited to see where the rest of the season goes from here, and can’t wait to see what lies ahead in the series’ upcoming fourth season!

Based on Lev Grossman’s best-selling novels, The Magicians tells the story of Quentin Coldwater (Jason Ralph) and his friends as they continue to discover their magical abilities and use them to ward off the evil creatures that threaten to destroy the magical world they’ve come to know.
