The pieces of the Triforce are gathering as The Legend of Zelda TV show reportedly finds its producer.

Netflix has been said to be in close talks with Nintendo to work on a “Game of Thrones-like” Legend of Zelda TV show, but word has been mum on the video game adaptation for some years.

Shankar, who also worked with Netflix as an executive producer on the animated Castlevania TV show, posted on Instagram that he would fully announce what “iconic Japanese gaming company” he is working with “on Nov 16 @ 1pm.”

The Wrap is reporting that the video game series in question is The Legend of Zelda‘s TV show. Whether or not Netflix will be the company moving forward with the project has yet to be revealed, but things are certainly looking that way, given Shankar’s involvement with the streamer’s Castlevania series.

The Legend of Zelda video games majorly avoided voice acting (save for those horrible CD-i games) up until 2017’s blockbuster Nintendo Wii U and Switch title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Link remained mute in Breath of the Wild, but chances are that if the show follows his story, a voice actor will be hired to voice the blond hero.

When asked about the Legend of Zelda TV show, Nintendo stated that they “have nothing to announce on this topic.”
