Korra and Asami’s first date is just the cutest in preview pages from The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars.

The preview pages come from Entertainment Weekly, and show that Turf Wars will pick up right where The Legend of Korra ended. Korra and Asami explore the Spirit World on their first official date — er, “getaway.”

But while there are romantic highs and gorgeous views, not everything goes according to plan.

The inciting incident of The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars begins to emerge toward the end of these pages. The rock spirit is clearly not thrilled at Korra’s meddling in the architecture of the Spirit World, a sense that only grow when the Avatar returns to the mundane realm of Republic City.

According to publisher DarkHorse, that’s where the conflict of the comic begins.

Turf Wars begins with Korra and Asami leaving the spirit world and returning to Republic City only to find political hijinks and human vs. spirit conflict, as a pompous developer plans to turn the new spirit portal into an amusement park, potentially severing an already tumultuous connection with the spirits.”

“In addition, the triads have realigned and are in a brutal brawl at the city’s borders where hundreds of evacuees have relocated. In order to get through it all, Korra and Asami vow to look out for each other — but first, they’ve got to get better at being a team.”

Hypable recently spoke to Turf Wars writer (and Avatar: The Last Airbender co-creator) Michael DiMartino about the upcoming comic. DiMartino teases that fans can expect a lot of love between Korra and Asami… but not to be surprised if there are a few bumps along the way.

The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars hits stores in June 2017.
