The air-babies are no longer babies – and they’re headed out on their own in a sneak peek from The Legend of Korra season 4, episode 4.

The search for the Avatar is on in a new sneak peek from The Legend of Korra season 4, episode 4. The episode, titled “The Calling,” looks like it will focus partly on Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo as they head out into the wild to search for the missing Korra.

A sneak peek from “The Calling” shows the three siblings preparing to set off on their adventure – though they may not all be prepared for everything they encounter.

In the clip from The Legend of Korra season 4, episode 4, Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo prepare to go off on their own to search for Korra. Tenzin will remain in Republic City to help reach a “diplomatic solution” to the fact that Kuvira has suddenly taken over the entire Earth Kingdom Empire.

Well, that’s definitely going to work.

After Meelo makes it clear that his status as a picky eater may remain unchanged in the wild, Jinora tells Tenzin that she will be able to hone in on Korra’s spiritual energy soon. She expects to find the Avatar in a few days – though that pace may not be sufficient for Meelo, who considers himself the commander of the mission of minors.

But it must be said that we are hardly as confident as Jinora that Korra will be found quickly. Cut off from Raava’s spirit, Korra is suffering from a serious lack of spirituality lately. Add in the fact that she’s currently tucked into a swamp that historically has a mind of its own, and we suspect there may be a long journey ahead for the air-kids.

The Legend of Korra season 4, episode 4, “The Calling,” will begin streaming on Friday, Oct. 17 on Nick.com.
