A sneak peek from The Legend of Korra season 4, episode 3 shows that Prince Wu just can’t wait to be king.

Everybody’s favorite “super-human,” Prince Wu of the Earth Kingdom, takes center stage in a new sneak peek from The Legend of Korra season 4, episode 3. The episode, titled “The Coronation,” will presumably focus on the heir apparent’s ascension to the Earth Kingdom’s throne – or at least, his attempted ascension.

The clip also serves to highlight the painfully obvious fact that Prince Wu, while probably harmless, is completely, utterly, and hilariously ill-equipped to be the Earth King.

There is also something called “The Dance of the Badger Moles,” which must be seen to be believed.

In the clip from The Legend of Korra season 4, episode 3, Prince Wu lays out the plans for his coronation ceremony – complete with a “dynamite six hour show” about his lineage. Mako, who has clearly lost any ability to keep his mouth shut, suggests that the Prince focus on the whole “ruling a huge, fragmented nation” thing instead.

But Wu is unconcerned about that part of the King thing. The Prince plans to live it up, while letting his ministers rule the kingdom. Mako is incredulous that President Raiko thinks this is a good idea, but Raiko assures him that Wu will have plenty of advisors helping him.

…or rather, helping Raiko control the Earth Kingdom.

Between this beurocratic mess and the “Great Uniter” Kuvira, it looks like the Earth Kingdom is stuck between a rock and a heck of a hard place.

We’ll be here all week.

The Legend of Korra season 4, episode 3, “The Coronation,” will begin streaming on Friday, Oct. 17 on Nick.com.

Do you think Prince Wu’s coronation will go smoothly?
