Kuvira’s plans will kick into high gear when The Legend of Korra season 4, episode 11 begins streaming today on Nick.com.
Today’s episode, titled “Kuvira’s Gambit,” will be the final episode of The Legend of Korra to stream on its own. The two-part series finale (sob!) will go live next week.
The Avatar herself played only a minor role on last week’s episode of The Legend of Korra, as she tried in vain to convince the spirits to aid Republic City in the fight against Kuvira. The city’s dire straits become clearer than ever as Kuvira demonstrated the awesome – and terrifying – power of her spirit cannon, while Toph, Lin, Opal, and Bolin rescued the rest of the BeiFongs from the Great Uniter. And Zhu Li, whose true anti-Kuvira sentiments were finally revealed, dropped a terrifying revelation: Kuvira plans to attack Republic City in two weeks.

The clip also expands on the Great Uniter’s bond with Bataar Jr., who seems to be wholly on her side… but we have to admit, we’re not sure that all is as it seems right here.
