Korra and the Krew will discover disturbing new developments when The Legend of Korra season 3, episode 9 streams today on Nick.com.
Change has come to The Legend of Korra, as the animated series begins its shift to digital streaming today. The ninth episode of Book 3, titled “The Stakeout,” will be available on Nickelodeon’s website beginning at 12:00 p.m. EST.
The Legend of Korra season 3, episode 9 will presumably pick up where last week’s episode, “The Terror Within,” left off. In last week’s episode – likely the last of the series to air on live TV – Korra and the Krew found themselves fending off a vicious attack by Zaheer and his comrades of the Red Lotus.
Though the group was able to save Korra from kidnapping, the breach in Zaofu’s defenses sent them looking for a traitor in their midst. The traitor was eventually found to be Suyin’s assistant Aiwei, who then escaped from the city. After lying to Lin, Suyin sent Korra and the Krew to track down and find the traitor.
A sneak peek from “The Stakeout” was recently released on Nick.com. In the clip, Korra and the Krew track Aiwei’s scent to a seedy bar in the desert – but what they find instead are their own Wanted posters, courtesy of the Earth Queen.
Korra’s pissed, and we don’t blame her.
