The ceiling can’t hold us Asami Sato in a new sneak peek from The Legend of Korra season 3, episode 10.
When The Legend of Korra season 3, episode 10 streams this Friday, Korra and the Krew will find themselves stuck in their worst jam to date.
The episode, titled “Long Live the Queen,” will find Korra and Asami trapped in the Earth Queen’s metallic clutches, headed to face her wrinkly wrath. Meanwhile Mako and Bolin are prisoners of the fascinatingly nefarious Red Lotus.
But a new sneak peek from The Legend of Korra season 3, episode 10 released on Nick.com reveals that imprisonment is nothing Asami Sato can’t handle. Check out the clip below to be awed by Asami’s awesomeness!
In the sneak peek from “Long Live the Queen,” Korra and Asami find themselves on an Earth Kingdom airship, headed for the Earth Queen. Luckily, Asami easily figures out how to exploit the weak points in the Cabbage Corp airship’s construction. (“Not my Cabbage Corp airship!” wailed nobody, ever.) Freed except for her handcuffs, Asami heads out to find the keys to Korra’s Hannibal-esque portable prison.
We’re starting to think Asami needs a superhero name. How about, “The Amazing Asami”? Or “SuperSami”? Her catch-phrase could be “Shoddy workmanship!”
…Should we quit while we’re ahead?
Anyway, though it seems like Book 3 of The Legend of Korra just began (and it basically did), episode 10 will bring us within three episodes of the finale. Co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Mike DiMartino shared at the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel that after episode 11 streams solo next week, the last two episodes of the season will be streamed together.
Even as the episodes wind down, however, we have no doubts that the climax of The Legend of Korra season 3 is just getting started.
