The Legend of Korra season 2 will feature several new characters, and now the voice actors responsible for bringing them to life have been announced.

New members of the voice cast for The Legend of Korra season 2 have been revealed today on Entertainment Weekly. The announcement adds another dimension to the growing volume of information currently known about Book 2: Spirits.

The list of new cast members includes several actors well-known for their live action roles. Aubrey Plaza, of Parks and Recreation, will be heard in the role of Korra’s cousin Eska; the character’s twin brother will be voiced by Aaron Himelstein (Joan of Arcadia). Sons of Anarchy‘s Adrian LaTourelle will voice the twins’ father, Korra’s spiritual and imposing uncle Unalaq. According to Entertainment Weekly, Unalaq will not only act as Korra’s spiritual mentor, but will “seek assistance” from the young Avatar as well.

Other famous names round out both the cast and Korra’s family. James Remar of Dexter will take on the role of Korra’s father Tonraq, and House‘s Lisa Edelstein will play Aang and Katara’s “sweet-yet-impatient” eldest daughter Kya. Update: According to Bryan Konietzko, Kya’s brother Bumi will be voiced by Richard Riehle (Office Space.)

Meanwhile, John Michael Higgens will provide the voice for the charismatic shipping magnate, Varrick. Voice actress Grey DeLisle will also be a part of The Legend of Korra season 2, and is believed to be voicing a mysterious character called the Dark Spirit.

The new voices joining The Legend of Korra season 2 will add new timbre to the original cast, which includes Janet Varney as Korra, David Faustino as Mako, and JK Simmons as Aang’s youngest son Tenzin. PJ Byrne will return as Bolin, as will Seychelle Gabriel as Asami Sato.

In addition to the cast, the article also shared two new screenshots from The Legend of Korra season 2. The first photo is of the “creepy twins” Eska and Desna giving us the ultimate side-eye.
