An eerie new poster for The Legend of Korra season 2 has been revealed, and will be released at San Diego Comic-Con.

Co-creator Bryan Konietzko revealed the official San Diego Comic-Con poster for The Legend of Korra season 2. The artwork for the Book 2: Spirits poster was drawn by Ryu Ki-Hyun and colored by Konietzko; it will be given away free to fans at the Nickelodeon booth.

The gorgeous and eerie artwork presents Korra somewhat out of her element (pardon the pun).

Floating in a strange environment and surrounded by bands of golden light, the poster calls back to the color scheme and imagery we have already seen in the first official footage from The Legend of Korra season 2. Our heroine seems slightly uncertain as she floats in that eerie light, though Korra’s trademark determination is still perfectly clear.

Fans of The Legend of Korra will also have the opportunity to have the poster signed at San Diego Comic-Con. Konietzko added that he, Ki-Hyun, and Mike DiMartino would be signing at the Nickelodeon booth from 12:45-2:15.

The signing will take place after the panel, which is anticipated to present long-awaited information about The Legend of Korra season 2. The official description promises a “mind-bending panel” featuring “the ultimate sneak peek” of the animated show.

As if that weren’t exciting enough, Konietzko also promised “more cool announcements” at the end of his post. Hypable will keep you updated on all the exciting updates sure to come for The Legend of Korra season 2!
